Gabrielle Ocampo
Actor, Singer, Teaching Artist

About Me
Gabrielle Ocampo (she/her) is a Filipino-American actor from the suburbs of San Francisco, where she grew up playing violin, singing in choir, and doing community theatre throughout the bay area. She then went on to pursue higher education, earning her B.A. in Musical Theatre at San Diego State University, with a semester abroad of additional training from the Theatre Academy London, sponsored by Florida State University. It was at this academy where her skills in film acting, Shakespeare, and physical theatre were sharpened.
Whether it be on stage, film, or in the classroom, Gabrielle Ocampo seeks out projects that challenge assumptions and create space for meaningful dialogue. Her goal as an artist is to use storytelling as a tool to build empathy, amplify underrepresented voices, and foster human connection and community. UPCOMING: See Gabrielle Ocampo as Pilar in Berkeley Playhouse's production of Legally Blonde, fall 2026.

Gabrielle Ocampo as "Woman" in Clean
“Gabrielle Ocampo is the best kind of performer. Bubbly and energetic off stage, she can drop into a serious scene immediately with specificity and authenticity; captivating audiences with a presence that feels both effortless and unforgettable."
-Robert Meffe, head of the musical theatre program at San Diego State University
